W I kwartale 2008 r. PAF zainwestował 12 mln zł. Inwestycje sieci obejmują zakup nowych maszyn sortujących, insertujących i pakujących korespondencję, rozbudowę infrastruktury IT, transportu oraz rozwój sieci i zatrudnienia. Od początku roku oddziały są wyposażane w nowe urządzenia, które przyspieszą obrót przesyłek. Według zapowiedzi Marka Sadowskiego, prezesa spółki PAF Operator Pocztowy, w najbliższych miesiącach powstanie ponad 200 nowych placówek sieci zlokalizowanych przy głównych ciągach komunikacyjnych i w centrach handlowych dużych i średnich miast, liczących ponad 20 tys. mieszkańców. Koszty inwestycji poczynionych do końca 2008 roku wyniosą ok. 26 mln zł.

- Problemy operatora publicznego, któremu prawo gwarantuje monopol, grożą paraliżem całego rynku, o czym wielu ludzi przekonało się w święta – wyjaśnia Marek Sadowski. - Przygotowujemy się do pełnej liberalizacji rynku i chętnie wyręczymy pocztę – dodaje.

Wartość rynku usług pocztowych szacowany jest obecnie na ok. 6 mld zł. Z badań przeprowadzonych na zlecenie PAF wynika, że jego wartość rośnie o 15–20 proc. rocznie. Firma prognozuje też korzystne zmiany dla prywatnych operatorów po pełnej liberalizacji rynku w 2013 roku. Zdaniem Marka Sadowskiego, w ciągu trzech najbliższych lat, do zagospodarowania będzie ok. 30 proc. krajowego rynku pocztowego.

W I kwartale 2008 r. PAF zainwestował 12 mln zł. Inwestycje sieci obejmują zakup nowych maszyn sortujących, insertujących i pakujących korespondencję, rozbudowę infrastruktury IT, transportu oraz rozwój sieci i zatrudnienia. Od początku roku oddziały są wyposażane w nowe urządzenia, które przyspieszą obrót przesyłek. Według zapowiedzi Marka Sadowskiego, prezesa spółki PAF Operator Pocztowy, w najbliższych miesiącach powstanie ponad 200 nowych placówek sieci zlokalizowanych przy głównych ciągach komunikacyjnych i w centrach handlowych dużych i średnich miast, liczących ponad 20 tys. mieszkańców. Koszty inwestycji poczynionych do końca 2008 roku wyniosą ok. 26 mln zł.
