Firma BoConcept powstała w duńskim miasteczku Herning w połowie lat 90. ubiegłego wieku. Jej korzenie sięgają lat 50., kiedy dwóch przedsiębiorczych młodych ludzi, Jens Aerthoj Jensen i Tage Moholm, założyli warsztat stolarski, specjalizujący się w produkcji mebli drewnianych na indywidualne zamówienie. Obecnie istnieje 350 salonów firmowych i studiów BoConcept w 44 krajach na wszystkich kontynentach. Salony mają powierzchnię od 400 do 800 m2 powierzchni. Potencjalny franczyzobiorca firmy BoConcept powinien dysponować 300-600 tys. Euro. To kwota potrzebna do otwarcia salonu. Wartość inwestycji wzrasta wraz z powierzchnią salonu. Firma preferuje partnerów, którzy gotowi są otworzyć kilka sklepów BoConcept.

W Polsce znajduje się pięć salonów firmowych BoConcept: dwa w Warszawie i po jednym w Katowicach, Sopocie i Wrocławiu. W najbliższym czasie firma zamierza intensywnie rozwijać sieć sprzedaży w Polsce. Planuje otworzyć sklepy franczyzowe w Poznaniu, Łodzi i Krakowie.
Firma BoConcept powstała w duńskim miasteczku Herning w połowie lat 90. ubiegłego wieku. Jej korzenie sięgają lat 50., kiedy dwóch przedsiębiorczych młodych ludzi, Jens Aerthoj Jensen i Tage Moholm, założyli warsztat stolarski, specjalizujący się w produkcji mebli drewnianych na indywidualne zamówienie. Pomysł na biznes okazał się strzałem w dziesiątkę i w miarę upływu czasu stolarnia rozwinęła się w fabrykę mebli modułowych: regałów, szaf, stołów oraz krzeseł sprzedawanych w sklepach meblowych w całej Europie. W latach 90. spadkobiercy założycieli firmy zdecydowali się zbudować własną sieć sprzedaży pod marką BoConcept. Pierwszy sklep został otwarty w 1993 roku w centrum Paryża.
Obecnie istnieje 350 salonów firmowych i studiów BoConcept w 44 krajach na wszystkich kontynentach. Salony mają powierzchnię od 400 do 800 m2 powierzchni. Potencjalny franczyzobiorca firmy BoConcept powinien dysponować 300-600 tys. Euro. To kwota potrzebna do otwarcia salonu. Wartość inwestycji wzrasta wraz z powierzchnią salonu. Firma preferuje partnerów, którzy gotowi są otworzyć kilka sklepów BoConcept.
- Bycie częścią BoConcept oznacza większe możliwości. Sześć miesięcy po otwarciu mojego pierwszego salonu właśnie otworzyliśmy następny sklep i przygotowujemy się do inauguracji trzeciego. To doskonały przykład pokazujący, że połączenie odpowiedniej postawy, dobrego marketingu i zaufania do naszej koncepcji może nas zaprowadzić daleko – nawet na tak małym rynku jak duński – mówi Kasper Birk, franczyzobiorca BoConcept, właściciel trzech salonów w Danii.
