Grupa EM&F, zarządzająca siecią salonów multimedialnych Empik, rozpoczęła budowę sieci agencyjnej w drugiej połowie 2007 roku. Pierwszy salon uruchomiono we wrześniu w Legionowie, kolejny otwarto w Łowiczu na początku listopada. Przedstawiciele spółki Empik zakładają, że w 2008 roku powstanie około 20 nowych punktów na licencji.
Agencyjne salony Empik będą powstawać w miastach liczących od 30 do 70 tys. mieszkańców, m.in. w Żyrardowie, Bełchatowie, Oławie i w Świdnicy.
- Zauważamy duży potencjał wzrostowy na rynku małych miast – mówi Maciej Dyjas, prezes EM&F.
Partnerami sieci Empik są dotychczasowi pracownicy oraz właściciele księgarni. Partner sieci wpłaca do centrali 5 tys. zł kaucji, którą firma zwraca, jeśli współpraca nie przyniesie zamierzonych rezultatów. Ponadto, Empik odpowiada za wyposażenie lokalu, oferuje wsparcie marketingowe, logistyczne i informatyczne, jak również zarządza ofertą i uzupełnia ją. Wynagrodzeniem partnerów jest miesięczna prowizja od sprzedaży oraz udział w zyskach ze sprzedaży – na koniec roku.
- Zgłasza się do nas bardzo dużo prywatnych księgarzy, np. z Mińska Mazowieckiego. Chcą zarabiać dzięki znanej marce – mówi Maciej Dyjas.
Rozwój w małych miastach i współpraca z partnerami zewnętrznymi wymaga od właściciela sieci dostosowania rozwiązań logistycznych i centralizacji dostawców. W drugiej połowie 2008 roku EM&F zamierza uruchomić magazyn centralny w okolicach Sochaczewa.
- Jeśli kiedyś chcielibyśmy współpracować ze 100 franczyzobiorcami, musimy być na to przygotowani – mówi Maciej Dyjas.
W dużych miastach, gdzie sprzedaż produktów oferowanych przez Empik jest wysoka, firma nadal planuje uruchamiać sklepy własne.
Empik jest częścią Grupy Empik Media&Fashion, która zarządza portfelem marek m.in. własnych (Empik, Smyk) oraz franczyzowych (Mango, Mexx, Aldo, Palmers, czy Esprit). Na koniec 2007 roku grupa posiadała sieć 456 sklepów i punktów usługowych.

Grupa EM&F, zarządzająca siecią salonów multimedialnych Empik, rozpoczęła budowę sieci agencyjnej w drugiej połowie 2007 roku. Pierwszy salon uruchomiono we wrześniu w Legionowie, kolejny otwarto w Łowiczu na początku listopada. Przedstawiciele spółki Empik zakładają, że w 2008 roku powstanie około 20 nowych punktów na licencji.
Agencyjne salony Empik będą powstawać w miastach liczących od 30 do 70 tys. mieszkańców, m.in. w Żyrardowie, Bełchatowie, Oławie i w Świdnicy.
